The video starts off by showing you how to thread the CSM (although it is shot using a Legare, you could also use the video to make socks on an Auto Knitter, Gearhart, and other sock knitting machines with minor differences in the procedures) and cast on. It proceeds to go through, step-by-step each phase of making a hemmed top sock, including doing the Kitchener stitch at the end to close the toe. The photo above is an example of the type of sock made in this video. Granted, I may be a little biased in my opinion of the video but everyone else who has seen it so far says it's just great! #2 Mitten
This video takes you through the process of making a mitten on your circular sock machine. You'll be amazed at the results. The above photo is an example of a pair of mittens made using this method. The video was shot using an Auto Knitter but the techniques could also be used on almost any CSM! After the mitten is made, I show you how to close the thumb and Kitchener across the tip of the mitten. This video assumes that you have basic socking knitting machine skills and does not show any setup. These mittens were made using a mock rib and a hanged hem on the cuff, no ribber is needed to make these spectacular mittens.
